True, this was the first of Lady Gaga’s arena tours where her outsized personality and deceptively down-to-earth charm occasionally threatened to get lost in the spectacle. Eventually, however, the very same technology that appeared on the verge of totally overwhelming Gaga wound up riding to the rescue.
