Construction works on three hundred and nine projects have stalled for a long time due to resource constraints from the government which is appealing to donor partners to help secure funds for their completion in earnest to inure to the benefit of the citizenry . “We are aware of about three hundred and nine uncompleted projects of the Ministry. Speaking to stakeholders at the 2017 Health Summit performance review under the theme: “Accountability in the health sector to achieve the health related SDGs” the minister bemoaned the poor achievements chalked over the years in the health sector. He stated that government is quick to build hospitals and health facilities in cities in bringing healthcare to the doorsteps of the people.
