Jeremy Corbyn has pledged to speed up disciplinary proceedings of antisemitism as Labour launched a website telling members how to avoid the offence. In a further attempt to end his party’s antisemitism crisis, Mr Corbyn sent a message to members saying that the party was not a home for antisemites and “never will be”. He apologised for the “hurt” that numerous cases involving party members had caused and said that working with the Jewish community to rebuild trust was a priority.
