Both seats are projected to be extremely safe for Labour, while seats more akin to their old patch will be more marginal, particularly given the financial incompetence and alleged cronyism and corruption of the Labour-run Croydon council. Now a popular Black MP is being shunted aside to make room in safe seats for a white, right-wing Starmer ally with a record of blatant antisemitism – and another white MP.
