The MP for Aberavon, Wales, tweeted an image of him sat in the garden outside his parents' home - saying they had a "socially distanced celebration". Incredible, but true...I took a couple of chairs over and sat in their front garden for a socially distanced celebration. South Wales Police also responded to the MP, advising him the trip was not classed as essential travel. The force, on Twitter, replied: “Hello @SKinnock we know celebrating your Dad’s birthday is a lovely thing to do, however this is not essential travel. Really, really scary.
