Laboratory technicians in the country on have ended the 3rd Annual Medical Laboratory Professionals’ week in Monrovia. Madame Clara Doe Mvogo, Mayor of Monrovia, underscored the important role laboratory services play in functional healthcare delivery systems. She lauded the laboratory technicians, who she described as crucial partners to the improvement of quality healthcare. According to her, medical laboratory professionals play important roles in saving life alongside doctors and nurses. “Clinical laboratory tests enable physicians and patients identify diseases and to begin treatment earlier than ever before,” said Minister Cooper.
