LaSalle tight end Luke Willson signed on with the NFL’s Oakland Raiders on Friday. The Raiders just lost tight end Jared Cook to New Orleans in free agency and brought in Willson for a visit on Friday and quickly signed him. Despite poor offensive numbers with the Lions last season, Willson graded out 17among run-blocking tight ends by Pro Football Focus. Willson is the third signing in two days by the Raiders, who inked running back Isiah Crowell and linebacker Brandon Marshall on Thursday. With the Raiders, Willson is expected to battle for time with Lee Smith, Derek Carrier, Darren Waller and Paul Butler.
