But the sequence of events in the two weeks since LSU won the national title is starting to seem overwhelming. There is a reasonable comparison that could be made between the big names leaving the Tigers’ roster and the sporting world’s most memorable example of a post-championship talent exodus, the 1998 Florida Marlins.
