Share TweetBy MB OnlineThe Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced on Thursday that the card issuance fee for stored value tickets or “Beep Cards” will increase from P20 to P30 starting Jan. 1. The fee increase is in compliance with the concession agreement between the Department of Transportation and AF Payments Inc. (AFPI), the LRTA said in an advisory. The Beep Card was launched to the public in 2015. It can be used to access the services of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and LRT Lines 1 and 2, also for paying fares in modern buses and PUVs.
