more-inThe last date for regularising unauthorised layouts under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) has again been extended by a month to clear pending applications. The fresh deadline is March 31, as per orders from Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration, Arvind Kumar on Wednesday. LRS was announced in November 2015 with a 60-day deadline, which has been extended a number of times since. We will utilise the fresh deadline to process these,” Mr. Chiranjeevulu informed. About 16,500 applications were not processed for various violations, leaving over 14,000 pending, which left over 14,000 applications pending.
