BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The alumni of different classes of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) paraded on Borromeo Field of Fort Gregorio del Pilar here for their homecoming on Saturday. Active police and military officers and retired alumni who now hold government posts led the way for their batches – among them Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana (1973) and Interior Secretary Eduardo Año (1983), and Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. (1985), presidential peace adviser. ADVERTISEMENTEnvironment Secretary Roy Cimatu, a former chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and homecoming guest speaker, marched to inspect the cadets of various classes standing in formation. Among the retired officers who attended was former Sen. Rodolfo Biazon (1961), a former AFP chief. Senatorial candidates Ronald Dela Rosa of PDP-Laban (1986), a former PNP chief, and Gary Alejano of Otso Diretso (1995), a former Marine captain, also attended the event.
