MANILA, Philippines — The Department of the Interior and Local Government office in Batangas on Wednesday released a list of barangays where residents are advised to immediately conduct mandatory evacuation following the eruption of Taal Volcano. According to the agency, the list was generated by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology using the HazardHunterPH application. Phivolcs earlier said barangays within the 14 kilometers radius of Taal Volcano is a high-risk zone. The DILG said these barangays are susceptible to ballistic projectiles, base surge and volcanic tsunami.
