Monrovia – As part of efforts to improve the wellbeing of the student populace in the country, the Liberian National Student Union (LINSU) at the weekend opened its newly renovated headquarters and at the same time presented plans of action for the next two years. Report by J. H. Webster Clayeh, [email protected]Since its establishment in 1952, LINSU is the only umbrella organization for all students and students’ organizations in Liberia. The leadership of LINSU presented its Students Reform Agenda (SRA) – the five working pillars for the next two years. He called on the government and International partners along with other educational stakeholders to support LINSU to achieve its agenda. “We fought reactionary element yesterday; we defended and protected the sanctity of the national student movement to have a brilliant student movement today,” Jersey said.
