ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court (LHC) verdict against the special court in the Musharraf case was challenged in the Supreme Court on Monday. The petitioner has pleaded the Supreme Court to declare the verdict of the high court as ‘unconstitutional’ and thus null and void. The petition argues that the petition against the special court was out of the jurisdiction of the Lahore High Court. The petition pleaded the high court to declare the constitution of the special court and its proceedings as unlawful. The Lahore High Court on January 13 granted the petition and declared the special court as unlawful.
