Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has directed that all its chairmanship and councillorship candidates for the forthcoming Local Government polls holding in the state should ensure they submit forms to all their respective LGA chairman Friday latest by 4 pm. Chairman of the party, Engr Deji Doherty gave this directive in a statement titled: “Subject: 2021 Local Government Council Elections,” copy of which was made available to newsmen, saying the directive came on the heel of information reaching him that some candidates were proposing to personally submit their forms to Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC). “It has come to the notice of the State Chairman that some Candidates are Proposing to personally submit their forms to LASIEC. “Please be informed that all completed forms must be submitted through their respective LGA chairman latest by 4 pm today 4, June 2021,” the party boss said.
