The chairman of Irewole North East LCDA, Wasinmi Ikire, Hon Adeboye Opeyemi, on Thursday, flagged off free medical healthcare services across various health centres in different villages within the LCDA. The event which was held at Wasinmi health centre, had in attendance the Chairman, Hon Adeboye Opeyemi, the Vice Chairman, Hon Arimiyau, the scribe to the LCDA, Mr Oyetoro Jelili and the council manager, Mrs Felicia Olabintan, while Irewole All Progressive Congress (APC), Chairman, Elders Forum, Pa Olubowale and his secretary, Hon Tayo Fawole, a onetime Irewole LG caretaker chairman were also in attendance. The chairman also encouraged them to change their disposition towards public health centres, as it has shown over time people prefer going to the private hospital even when they are below standards compare to public health centres, where there are better facilities and professional hands. He also used the opportunity to remind the people that free medical surgery is currently going on at Ikire General Hospital and that they can go there for consultation.
