Everybody else had an Oct. 22 deadline to get vaccinated (if we wanted to visit loved ones in health-care facilities). Incidentally, a report by CBC.ca back in September indicated that the vaccine passport would only apply to non-essential services and not to health-care facilities. I was visiting without a vaccine passport up to Oct. 21. What changed on Oct. 22? The Oct. 22 deadline of this regulation was very unfair both to visitors and especially to patients in hospital and residents of nursing homes.
