LEGO20 years after making Star Wars its first outside license, LEGO is making it the first outside license for its programmable series of Boost toys, which use drag-and-drop coding technology. For May the 4th, nowadays designated the official Star Wars day, they've announced a programmable, buildable R2-D2, Mouse droid, and "Gonk" Power droid. "We thought about the main functions of the droids from the movies and built towards that," explains Merriam. In the case of the Gonk droid, however, fans may notice new augmentations, like that buzzsaw weapon. The Star Wars Boost set, which lets you build all three droids will be available Sept. 1st.
