CAIRO - 5 November 2020: Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has announced the features of the “Citizen Investment Plan” for North Sinai for fiscal year (FY) 2020/21. The minister said that the funds included in the FY 2020/21 plan for the development of the Sinai Peninsula amount to LE 6.8 billion. The local development sector will receive LE 286.6 million, or 6.3 percent, and the higher education sector will receive LE 250 million, or 5.5 percent. The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development launched the nationwide "Citizen Plan for FY 20/2021" for the second consecutive year. The plan aims to increase awareness among citizens in order that they get acquainted with the directions of the sustainable development plan adopted by the state.
