The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has expressed sadness over the death of its former Director-General, Sir Remi Omotoso. Omotoso, who was the Director-General of the chamber from 2005 to 2008, was a highly respected member who served the Chamber meritoriously. He worked for the sustainability of the alumni in Lagos and at the National level. “The UIAA Lagos has lost a rare gem, who gave his total support to the newly elected executive members of the Lagos branch of UIAA during a courtesy visit in March before the COVID-19 lockdown. He told us he was in support of our programme for the next two years and volunteered to lead us to various alumni members that will assist in making our goals achievable.
