Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies shot dead a man Sunday morning at an intersection near Santa Clarita where a woman had been fatally stabbed hours earlier. According to the sheriff’s department, a woman was found stabbed to death at the intersection of Bouquet Canyon and Spunky Canyon streets around 1:15 a.m. Sunday. Around 7:40 a.m., a man was shot dead by deputies at the same intersection, the department said. Sheriff’s Deputy Veronica Rodriguez said the two incidents are still under investigation and the department will issue a press release once it receives an update from homicide detectives.
