The Los Angeles Times has made their “endorsement” for Los Angeles City Council District 10 that bypasses incumbent Heather Hutt, Asm. Their choice to endorse Eddie Anderson SCREAMS the involvement of the now convicted former councilman for the district, Mark Ridley-Thomas (MRT). Anderson supported MRT in 2020 calling him “a moral leader with moral vision” in a video titled “Why Pastor Eddie supports Mark Ridley-Thomas for Los Angeles City Council”. Endorsement: Eddie Anderson for Los Angeles City Council District 10But the LAT Editorial Board said all of the above doesn’t match “Anderson’s vision and on-the-ground community experience. This endorsement REEKS of MRT’s involvement and further erodes the credibility of the Los Angeles Times to provide unbiased news to whatever readers they have left.
