Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly furious with Kylian Mbappe’s decision to break a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with the club president. Mbappe has come close to leaving PSG on several occasions since joining the club in 2018, with an agreement drawn up for him to join Real Madrid last year. It was revealed on Sunday that the 24-year-old had sent an email to the higher powers of PSG at Boulogne-Billancourt to inform them of his decision, which shook the club. According to AS, Mbappe’s conduct has caused a storm internally at PSG given that the majority of those involved with the club found out about the decision via the reports. It is also claimed that being so public about the clause breaks the ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
