Follow along with Indy 500 live updates. The 108th running of the Indianapolis 500 was delayed four hours due to stormy weather Sunday. That meant NASCAR star Kyle Larson, who was set to become the fifth driver to attempt the “Double” by racing in the Indy 500 and NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 on the same day, missed his NASCAR start at Charlotte Motor Speedway. “This whole situation is really fluid.”It remains to be seen whether Allgaier or Larson — who qualified fifth for the Indy 500 — will finish the race at Charlotte. If Larson were to arrive at the track while the race was ongoing, Allgaier indicated that Larson would relieve him at some point.
