The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr Paul Odama, on Friday, paraded a medical doctor, Ayodele Joseph, for allegedly sedating and raping a nurse. The suspect was reportedly performing an operation on the nurse in his hospital in Ilorin, Kwara State, when the incident happened. Joseph, the Chief Medical Director of Ayodele Hospital, Sawmill, Ilorin, was among 13 suspects paraded before journalists at the police headquarters. The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Ayodele Joseph, during the treatment, sedated the patient, which led her to become unconscious. Odama said the medical doctor would be charged with rape at the conclusion of ongoing investigation.
