CAIRO – 15 July 2021: Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim affirmed that Kuwait’s leadership, government, parliament and people stand by Egypt in all the challenges it faces, Kuwaiti Al-Qabas reported. “Egypt is the beating heart of the Arab world, and when it recovers, the entire Arab world recovers,” the newspaper cited Ghanim as saying. Hanafi El-Gebali, Egyptian Speaker of the House of Representatives; and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Cairo Mohammed Saleh Al-Thuwaikh attended the meeting with Sisi. Sisi stressed that the security of the Gulf is linked to the Egyptian national security, calling for continuous coordination among all Arab nations in the face of the challenges in the region in line with the huge energies and capabilities of the Arab countries. The Kuwaiti speaker affirmed his country’s appreciation of the historic and strong relations with Egypt and lauded the Egyptian efforts in protecting the security and stability of Kuwait as well as the entire Arab World.
