Kusumabandu Samarawickrama passes awayNewsColombo Young Men’s Buddhist Association (YMBA) Vice President and Ceylon Booksellers Importers and Exporters Association former President Kusumabandu Samarawickrama passed away (5) yesterday following a brief illness. Mr. Samarawickrama was an old boy of the Thurstan College and was at the age of 82 at the time of his demise. He was also a member of the Buddha Sasana Task Force. Mr. Samarawickrama’s remains will lie at A. F. Raymond funeral parlor in Borella and the cremation will take place at the General Cemetery, Kanatta, Borella on Tuesday (7) at 3.00pm.
