There has been an increase in the number of cases related to the mosquito-borne disease detected in BMC's L ward near Kapadia Nagar area. As per the BMC's health department's report released in July, 70 dengue cases and 752 malaria cases were reported across the city. The BMC officials visited the site on Friday morning to check the breeding spots, organised an awareness campaign, and interacted with the residents to take preventive measures." After the inspection of the spot, BMC officials detected one mosquito-breeding spot. But according to the residents, the cases are increasing in private hospitals and clinics in the area.
