Kuria defends remark on Raila ‘biting bullet’

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria yesterday denied that he called for Raila Odinga's assassination. Kuria challenged the NCIC to also summon Raila and other Cord leaders who have been making inciteful statements. Speaking in Lari, Kuria said that he never said Raila Odinga should be shot during the anti-IEBC protests that had been planned for yesterday. Kuria accused the authorities of targeting outspoken Kikuyu politicians while those in the opposition from other tribes are never questioned. "I said that Raila should follow what Boinnet had said so that no one should take advantage and shoot him.
