KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 16): Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd and Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS) today signed the agreements for Collection, Transportation, Treatment and Disposal (CTTD) of Scheduled Waste Services for the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC), in Johor. According to a statement today, the 5+5-year CCTD was signed between Kualiti Alam and PETRONAS’ subsidiaries, PRPC Refinery & Cracker Sdn Bhd (PRPC RC), PRPC Polymers Sdn Bhd (PRPC Polymers) and PRPC Utilities & Facilities Sdn Bhd (PRPC UF). In 2014, Khazanah Nasional Bhd acquired 100% of UEM Environment Sdn Bhd, the environmental holding company from the UEM Group Bhd. In line with this, Khazanah has fully supported Cenviro’s satellite facilities expansion plans via newly incorporated 100%-subsidiary, Cenviro Johor Sdn Bhd. Cenviro Johor will house the new state-of-the-art facilities that will provide Scheduled Waste management services to PIC and other parts of Johor, it said.
