more-inMumbai: The Amboli police on Friday arrested Vijay Dwivedi (37), the former husband of murdered actor Kritika Chaudhary, in a second case of cheating. Mr. Dwivedi is already in jail for Chaudhary’s murder. According to the police, Mr. Dwivedi duped an aspiring actress of ₹44 lakh by promising her a role in Hindi television serial Kalash. The police said that Mr. Dwivedi was booked for cheating when the model approached the police after getting suspicious of him. While the police do not have corroborative evidence against Mr. Dwivedi, Chuadhary’s call records show the estranged couple had recently gotten in touch again.
