I am gifting this OpEd by the dedicated liberal and progressive Nicholas Kristof. Mr Kristof says it with superb credentials and authority built on first-hand knowledge. That is- the problem is multidimensional and we must not look at it as black and white. In this case Senate Dems & Repubs actually passed a massive immigration bill which could have solved the systemic problems we have on immigration. Donny the Looooooser and his Lyin’ Repub lackeys in the House refused this dynamic set of solutions.
