VenkatKotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.'s (500247.BY) third-quarter net profit jumped 27% on year to 23.40 billion rupees ($329.4 million) as interest income was driven higher by its wholesale and retail banking operations. Net interest income during the October-December period came in at INR34.30 billion compared to INR29.26 billion in the same quarter last year, Kotak Mahindra Bank said in a filing to the Bombay stock exchange. Advances as of Dec. 31 were up 10% on year at IRN2.168 trillion, while net non-performing assets were at 0.87% from 0.67% in the same quarter last year. Write to P.R.
