So far 1.5 crore cubic metres of earth work was completed by the first week of May while the target is to complete 3.64 crore cubic metres of earth work. A canal is being dug here to supply water to Sangareddy district as well as Jagadevpur. In addition, drinking water will be supplied to Hyderabad from this project,” Mr. Harish Rao told The Hindu.
