Kolkata: Sweet stadium and sugar-coated tricolour sweets to celebrate India-Pakistan Champions Trophy match

The high-profile India-Pakistan Champions Trophy match at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground witnessed a record turnout of 24,156 spectators in Birmingham, United Kingdom. But cricket lovers and Virat Kohli fans left no stone upturned in bringing the live feel of the match in Kolkata. A renowned sweet shop designed the interiors of the shop depicting a stadium with India and Pakistan flags fluttering high on both sides of the stadium. Gajendra Gupta, proprietor of Gupta Brothers, of The Abarkhabo Sweet Shop in Kolkata explained the enthusiasm in the form of a stadium made out of sugar, sweet condensed milk and sugar syrup. "There is a lot of excitement for the match, so keeping that in mind we prepared sweets and incorporated the flag in most of our sweets to represent Team India.
