The helicopter crashed in the Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas at about 10:00 a.m. Nobody on the ground was injured, the city of Calabasas said. Early reports indicated that only five people, including Bryant and his daughter, were on the helicopter. Key background: Bryant spent his entire 20 year career on the Los Angeles Lakers until he retired in 2016.
