One of the unique features of the recently concluded elections is the discussion it generated on the Constitution Of India. It looks like the Kannada literary world took this onslaught on the constitution seriously, resulting in the publishing of numerous Kannada books and articles explaining and popularising the importance and significance of the Indian Constitution in the making of sovereign, independent and modern India. This provides the necessary background for understanding the making of Indian Constitution. Hence, the author warns the reader that only by protecting the constitution, India would survive as a nation. While the book also explains the basic structure and other aspects of the Constitution, the main focus of the book is the Rights Of Women embedded and explicit in the Constitution of India.
