At the 2012 London Olympics , Heena finished 12th in the women's 10m air pistol event.In 2013, at the ISSF World Cup Finals in Munich, she shot for a world record score that fetched her a gold medal. In 2010, at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, she won gold in the 10m air pistol doubles event and an individual silver medal; later that year, she won silver at the Guangzhou Asian Games. She shot 199.4 in the finals to beat Chinese Taipei's Tien Chia Chen (198.1) and Gim Yun Mi (177.9) of South Korea.Her career graph includes several highs. With this feat, Heena became the first Indian pistol shooter to win gold in this competition; earlier, Gagan Narang (2008) and Anjali Bhagwat (2003) had won gold medals in the small bore rifle shooting event.In 2014, Heena added another feather in her cap when she became the first Indian female pistol shooter to scale the World No 1 ranking.
