Winning is the only option for the Kolkata Knight Riders when they take on Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Friday. Interestingly, Kings XI face an exactly same situation, and they too will be as desperate as the Knight Riders. Both the Knight Riders and the Kings XI have 10 points from 12 matches. The Knight Riders are placed a rung above the Kings XI at sixth in the eight-team competition by virtue of a better net run-rate. The Kings XI too have had an erratic campaign so far and are on a three-match losing streak.
