Two weeks into the NBA season, we’ve had one coach fired, and one removed from the hot seat, but several others still seem only a bad two-week stretch from being handed a pink slip. Following an 0-3 start, the Knicks became the last team to win a game and then publicly backed Jeff Hornacek. According to team president Steve Mills, as long as the team makes progress, Hornacek is safe. Making $2 million, he’s listed at 10-1 to be gone at some point.
