I reported Saturday that Payne was in the mix to join Thibodeau’s staff, along with former Knicks head coach Mike Woodson. I have no doubt that Kenny is going to be a great asset to Coach Thibodeau’s staff. Flint, who served as an assistant at UMass for seven seasons under Calipari, will join Tony Barbee and Joel Justus on the Kentucky staff.
