SHAH ALAM: A 43-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly beating his mother-in-law to death. A post-mortem revealed that the cause of death was a head injury due to blunt force trauma. Klang Selatan district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli said the woman’s son-in-law was detained in Klang on Friday night. The beatings were believed to have occurred at their house in Teluk Pulai in Klang from May to October this year. He added that her husband was under the impression that his mother-in-law was urging her stepdaughter to divorce him.
