The two Kiwi boats scored dramatic heat wins at the "Last Chance" qualification regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland, on Sunday night (NZ time). Earlier, Emma Twigg displayed her class immediately as she easily won her heat in an impressive time. The first heat was won by the 2012 London Olympic champions Mads Rasmussen and Rasmus Quist of Denmark in 6:24.47. New Zealand's women's and men's quads have staked a major Olympic claim for Rio.
