Iconic Kiwi entertainers Dames Jools and Lynda Topp have revealed they both have breast cancer. Jools was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 at 48, undergoing surgery to remove her left breast and months of chemotherapy. Chris Skelton In an interview with TVNZ’s Sunday, Dames Lynda and Jools Topp – the Topp twins – revealed they both have breast cancer. Breast cancer is New Zealand’s third most common cancer – the most common cancer among Kiwi women – and accounts for more than 600 deaths every year. More than 3300 New Zealand women and about 25 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
