New Zealand-born Samoan test flanker Piula Fa'asalele has copped a seven-week ban in France for dangerous play. French news reports claimed Fa'asalele was dismissed in the first quarter after a dangerous tackle on Gabriel Ngandebe, whose head hit the ground. He is supsended until November 26 and will miss four French Top 14 rounds and Toulouse's first two Champions Cup games. The 1.96m 120kg blindside breakaway has been a test regular in recent seasons and helped Manu Samoa qualify for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
