Boyle won two silver medals at the 2015 World Championships, is a Commonwealth Games gold and silver medallist and a three-time Olympian. She was selected for the team for last week's World Championships in Budapest but was forced to withdraw due to hampered training efforts. She improved rapidly and was a surprise to world swimming at the 2012 London Olympics when fourth in the 800m freestyle.
