Residents of the Noonkopir area of Kitengela in Kajiado woke up to find a dead body of a man near a stone crusher on Sunday. It was not clear if the man, who most believed to be a boda boda rider, was killed in Nookopir or if the body was dumped there after being murdered. Others identified the dead man by one name and claimed he could have been killed elsewhere and his body taken to Noonkopir at night. Kitengela OCS David Shani said the man was killed elsewhere and dumped on the Nkurrunka Road in Noonkopir after the killers took away his motorbike. Shani admitted that the crime rate in the Noonkopir area of the town is slightly higher than in other areas.
