Kitchen ton puts Otago on front foot

Anaru KitchenAnaru Kitchen scored his first century for Otago on Saturday and dedicated the ton to his family. Kitchen racked up 133 for Otago in its first innings and his century has put Otago in a strong position after two days of its match against Central Districts at University Oval. Otago scored 402 in its first turn at bat and had Central Districts on 80 for four wickets when rain ended yesterday’s play early. Kitchen combined with Josh Finnie to help build Otago’s total after they came together when Otago was teetering on 101 for five wickets on Saturday. Wagner then brought up 250 wickets for Otago by knocking off the top of the Central Districts order.
