Kisii increases cash to buy medicines by Sh100 million

The Kisii government has increased funds to buy drugs from Sh150 million to Sh250 million. Governor James Ongwae yesterday said all health facilities will receive the drugs to improve treatment. He spoke at the Kisii Teaching and Referrral Hospital, where he flagged off drugs worth Sh34 million supplied by Kenya Medical Supplies Authority. Ongwae said they have sealed loopholes where drugs got lost and stolen. A team has been appointed to follow up and report.
