Staff of the Kenya Medical Training College in Kisii will lead a two-week sensitisation programme for Covid-19 control. The team will educate residents in remote areas on the importance of observing the Ministry of Health directives to contain the coronavirus. “I want to thank the management of KMTC Kisii branch for choosing to sensitise people about the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic. “Social distancing in remote areas is a big challenge so the sensitisation programme has come at the right time when cases keep surging in the country,” Omache said. “Our emergency isolation centre at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital to cater for any coronavirus case is ready,” Omache said.
